Job Description:

Assists Donor Relations team with general administrative activities. Works closely with major gift officers, faculty, students, donors and staff on a variety of day-to-day tasks including data entry into the donor database, event preparations, other duties as assigned, and special projects relating to gift stewardship.

Qualifications:   

  • Outstanding proofreading skills
  • Punctuality and responsiveness
  • Experience working an office environment
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel, Google Docs and data entry
  • Eligibility for Federal Work Study Funds
  • Availability for 10-15 hours per week within the hours of 9-5 Monday through Thursday
  • Must have been awarded federal work-study for the term in which a work-study position is being sought.
  • Must be a student matriculated in a TC degree program.
  • Must be taking at least 6 credits (or equivalent, which includes full-time equivalent offerings - HBSK 6480, CCPJ 6480, CCPX 6480, or any 8900 course).
  • Full-time TC employees are not eligible for this position.
  • Must be able to abide by the Student Confidentiality Agreement.
  • Must be able to abide by the Student Privacy Requirements.
  • A creative eye and eager to share creative ideas for special projects and events
  • Willing to commit for 1 to 2 years
  • In-person whenever possible
  • A can-do spirit is always a plus!

                                          

Posting Summary:

We are searching for an enthusiastic, detail-focused individual to assist with general administrative activities in support of the fun-loving, hard-working Donor Relations team. The Donor Relations Assistant will work closely with major gift officers, faculty, students, donors and staff on a variety of day-to-day tasks (such as data entry into our donor database, event preparations, and other duties as assigned) as well as special projects relating to gift stewardship.

Compensationup to $9,000.
